Student Financial Aid

FAFSA News:

The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) has been redesigned under the FAFSA Simplification Act to allow for a better user experience. The new FAFSA application is open. Students and schools will receive the details of the FAFSA Submission Summaries in March 2024. Students should start to receive information from the OUHSC Student Financial Aid Office in April.

Monitor studentaid.gov for updates to the FAFSA release. Students who need to make a correction to their FAFSA will be unable to do so until initial processing is complete in March.

Until the FAFSA data is processed by your school, you can use the Federal Student Aid Estimator to get an early estimate of what your aid could be for 2024-25.

For students and/or parent who need assistance with completing the FAFSA, please click here for a tutorial.

To continue to ensure the 2024–25 FAFSA form successfully improves the user experience—particularly for students and their families—the Department of Education announced a new resource, at StudentAid.gov/fafsatips, that gives FAFSA applicants and contributors tips to help them successfully complete and submit the 2024–25 FAFSA form.
